Official Rules for Home Sweet Home

    Offical Rules

  1. Must be 21 years-old and a valid member of John's Club to participate.
  2. To play, John's Club members can swipe their card once daily at Home Sweet Home display to be eligible for instant prizes. Additional swipes are awarded for every ten (10) John's Club comp dollars earned in a 24 hour period, midnight to midnight, if the swipes are taken within the same 24 hour period.
  3. Instant prizes are updated regularly and include, but are not limited to: $1,000, $100, $50 & $25 cash; $50, $25 & $5 dining credits; $50 & $25 Nugget gift cards; shows; hotel stays; $25, $10 & $5 table games wagers; various prizes including, but not limited to: key chains, letter openers, chip clips, mint dispensers, memo caddies, cookbooks, photo frames, BBQ sets, cheese sets, bottle stoppers, magnets, pocket tools, clocks, book lights, kitchen timers, flashlights, water bottles, coffee mugs, first aid kits, pens, totes, wine tools, screwdrivers, flip pads, calculators, coaster sets, clock frames, car kits, umbrellas, shot glasses, kitchen utensil sets, fleece blankets, oven mitts, cooler bags, lip balm, T-shirts, caps, watches, DVD players, TV's, Bingo packs, decks of cards; and additional monthly Wild Card Drawings entries.
  4. The Instant Cash Jackpot is guaranteed to hit by $10,000 and resets to a $1,000 minimum. Any remaining cash at the end of the promotion will not be distributed.
  5. Only the valid John's Club Card owner can swipe his or her card at the Home Sweet Home game and claim prizes. Instant prizes and Instant Cash Jackpots will be forfeited if the John's Club card was swiped by anyone other than the card owner at any time during the Home Sweet Home contest.
  6. Instant prizes and Cash Jackpots must be redeemed in person by the John's Club Card owner by presenting the winner's John's Club card and ID at the Home Sweet Home Prize Redemption Center. Players must collect their instant prizes within one (1) hour and the Instant Cash Jackpot immediately upon winning or prize will be forfeited. The Home Sweet Home Redemption Center is open 24 hours-a-day.
  7. All John's Club members will receive the option one time for an instant bonus game by providing their valid email address to the Redemption Center representative when prompted at the game.
  8. New John's Club members will receive one free bonus game on the day they sign-up. To be eligible, applicants must not have been a member for at least one year prior to application.
  9. Additional bonus Home Sweet Home games may be awarded through special casino offers.

    10. Monthly Home Sweet Home $20,000 Cash & Key Giveaways

  10. The Home Sweet Home $20,000 Cash & Ke. Giveaways will be held in the Casino Cabaret at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. & 9 p.m. on the following seven (7) Saturdays: Feb. 28; Mar. 21; Apr. 25; May 16; Jun. 20; Jul. 18; Aug. 22; Sep. 19 & Oct. 24, 2009. Ten (10) key certificates and $20,000 in cash and prizes, including a $10,000 grand prize will be given away at each monthly drawing. Dates and drawing times are subject to change.
  11. John's Club members receive one entry daily into the monthly drawings by swiping at the Home Sweet Home display and for every John's Club dollar earned. Gaming activity for Bingo/Keno/Pit ratings entered manually may be delayed for up to 24 hours.
  12. Members must swipe their card or use it in a Nugget card reader between noon and 8 p.m. on the day of the Home Sweet Home $20,000 Cash & Key Giveaway to activate their entries for the electronic drawing. Monthly electronic entries are discarded after each month's drawing.
  13. John's Club cardholders must be present to win the Home Sweet Home $20,000 Cash & Key Giveaway drawings and claim prizes in person within two (2) minutes of being announced. Unclaimed instant win key certificates will be awarded at the time of the Grand Prize drawing.

    14. Grand Prize

  14. The Grand Prize, a brand new TANAMERA home in The Preserve valued at $249,950, will be given away on Saturday, November 14, 2009. at 9 p.m. in the Rose Ballroom.
  15. Final drawing includes a maximum of 300 key certificate entries distributed as follows: 190 instant winners, 10 at casino tournaments or events, 90 monthly winners and 10 Wild Cards at the Grand Prize drawing.
  16. Players must swipe their card at the Home Sweet Home display or use it in any Nugget casino game card reader between noon and 7 p.m. on the grand prize drawing day to be eligible for drawings.
  17. The grand prize will include all electronic entries earned from noon on January 30 to 7 p.m. on November 14, 2009
  18. The grand prize is a new 1,416 square-foot TANAMERA home in The Preserve in Sparks, Nevada. Renderings, photographs and computer images of model home are for promotional purposes only. Actual home may vary.
  19. Property may be conveyed subject to developer's covenants, conditions and restrictions applicable to similar properties within The Preserve. John Ascuaga's Nugget is not responsible for determining title vesting, or for the condition of or any estimate of value of the Grand Prize home.
  20. In lieu of the Grand Prize home, the winner may elect a single cash payment of $150,000 from John Ascuaga's Nugget, in full satisfaction of the Grand Prize award. Winner must notify the Nugget of his or her intention of taking the cash option within 48 hours.
  21. All taxes, fees, escrow and closing costs for the grand prize and any taxes on cash and other prizes are the responsibility of the winners. Home escrow will be handled in the normal course of business by an escrow company selected by Tanamera should the buyer elect the home option. Property taxes will be prorated. Tanamera will split (50/50) the following with the winner: transfer taxes, escrow fees and normal closing costs. The winner will be responsible for any upgrades winner may request, and for a 50% deposit on all upgrades.
  22. The timing and availability of the Grand Prize home is subject to a construction schedule outside the control of John Ascuaga's Nugget. If for any reason, The Preserve ceases construction, John Ascuaga's Nugget will pay the winner $150,000 in cash, in full satisfaction of the Grand Prize award. Neither this payment, nor a cash payment paid at the election of the winner shall bear interest of any kind, unless such payment remains unpaid ninety days following written demand for payment received from the winner. If the home is not completed by May 30, 2010, the Nugget may choose to pay the winner $150,000 in full satisfaction of the Grand Prize award.
  23. Individuals may win more than one key certificate. However, previous winners of key certificates will not be eligible for wild card drawings on November 14, 2009.
  24. Must be present to win. All prizes are non-transferable and winners must present valid ID and John's Club card in person within two minutes of name being called to claim prizes.
  25. John Ascuaga's Nugget and TANAMERA employees and their spouses are not eligible to participate.
  26. Management reserves all rights to change, modify or cancel the promotion at any time.
  27. By participating in the contest, prize winners grant permission to John Ascuaga's Nugget to use their names and/or likeness for promotional purposes.
  28. Violation of promotion rules may result in revocation of John's Club membership.
